Medical tattooing, sometimes referred to as medical micropigmentation, has a significant impact on your physical and mental well-being. It is a non-surgical treatment that helps restore a sense of wholeness to post-surgery patients and trauma survivors. We offer visual improvement and a long-lasting colour repair, offering a solution for skin injuries or imperfection-prone areas. The outcomes range from areola and nipple reconstruction to scar reduction.

MCA - MEDICAL DRY NEEDLING
MCA Multi-trepannic Collagen Actuation
MCA Micro needling treatment is effective in treating:-
-
SURGERY SCARS - e.g. Scar revision after breast augmentation or breast reduction
-
Revision or camouflage of scars around the areola after breast surgery
-
STRETCH MARKS - Helping white scars to re-pigment naturally
-
FACIAL SCARS - Blending the appearance of scars into the surrounding skin
-
BURNS - Relaxing burn scars so the skin is less distorted and more comfortable. Improving stretch and movement in the area.
-
ACNE SCARING - Acne scarring can be long lasting and reduce a person's confidence. It can leave the skin with indents and pits which can not be covered with make up. Dry needling in each area of damage will plump and smoother even very old acne scarring and will transform the appearance of your skin.
-
SELF HARM SCARS - Providing you are fully recovered and not currently self harming then this treatment will help you smooth away your affected areas of harm.
-
TREATMENT OF DEEP LINES AND WRINKLES - This is a very effective way to smooth and plumb deep static lines as the needling draws the collagen back into the crevice of the line. If the line is linked to movement of the face, inorder for the results to be maintained, botox will be required.
Dry needling is carried out with the use of a specialist medical tattooing machine, using a dry needle technique (no pigment/colour used).
The process causes minute punctures, which create channels that trigger the body to produce collagen, melanin and elastin in order to fill the wounds – therefore promoting further healing.
While this isn’t a scar removal treatment (no such thing exists unfortunately), it can improve the look, feel, firmness and appearance of scars considerably.
-
Collagen, Melanin and Elastin are produced leading to new tissue growth and gentle healing
-
Bumpy and knotted scars start to become smoother
-
Discoloured scars can start to re-pigment naturally and blend into the surrounding skin more
-
Tight and restrictive scars start to relax

What is MULTI-TREPANNIC COLLAGEN ACTUATION?MCA Scar Treatment/dry needling is performed using a specialised medical tattooing machine and a dry needle technique (no pigment/color is used). The treatment involves inserting a needle into the skin's surface layers, causing minor controled trauma and stimulating blood flow to the area. The procedure creates minute punctures that cause the body to produce collagen, melanin, and elastin in order to fill the wounds, promoting further healing.

MCA Can Help With Various Scarring Types, Such as:MCA Microneedling Can Help With Various Scarring Types, Such as: Correction of scars following breast augmentation or reduction Scars around the areola after breast surgery: revision or concealment Aiding in the natural re-pigmentation of white scars Scars that appear to blend in with the surrounding skin Easing burn scars to make the skin more comfortable and less deformed Promoting smoothing and filling of [atrophic] scars with indentations How to correctly prepare a scar for a beautiful cover-up tattoo
-
What should you expect after MCA procedure?Collagen, Melanin, and Elastin are produced, resulting in the formation of new tissue and the gentle healing of wounds. Scars that are bumpy and knotted begin to smooth out. Discolored scars can naturally re-pigment and blend in with the surrounding skin. Scars that were previously tight and restrictive begin to relax. It is critical to understand that the scar will appear red immediately following treatment. This is due to the abundance of collagen, elastin, and melanin in the area, indicating the re-healing process in action. The redness should fade after a few days as the body heals.
-
How many MCA treatments shall you undergo?MCA can significantly improve the appearance of scars, and while individual results cannot be guaranteed, most clients will see an improvement after just one treatment. For best results, I recommend a course of three treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart. Some scars, however, will necessitate more treatment.
